New features on the courses of Niitvälja Golf

We have again added small new features to the courses in the autumn and winter period. The majority of the holes have received new paths. The lower car park and the important roads with traffic of the Park course were asphalted. Two larger mulch areas were built on the course (between holes 7 and 17 and in the forest left from hole 10 about 60 metres from the green) and several other mulch islands were added to the Park course and around the clubhouse.

Golf is played in a mulch area just like everywhere else (there are no special rules). Pursuant to the local rules of our course, the mulch islands are no play zones. If the ball of the player is in a no play zone or touches the zone or if a no play zone is physically in the way of the desired swinging position or swing of the player, the player must use a free relief. The ant hills and flowerbeds on the court are also no play zones.

The range in front of the clubhouse will be equipped with a large artificial turf training field instead of training mats. Artificial turf is more durable than the training mats, and better for practising golf swings. If you wish to use a tee, you can stick it in the artificial turf.

We have also renovated and tidied a number of bunkers for the new season. All bunkers of the PAR20 course were fully renovated.
