The oldest golf tournament in the Baltic States, Niitvälja Karikas, will soon be played for the 29^th time. The 54-hole stroke play competition is held on July 2–4, 2021.

Entries will be accepted from any professional players, amateur and non-amateur players. For men HCPI should be 18 or better and for women HCPI should be 28 or better. Maximum number of participants is 144. The competition offers R&A World Amateur Golf Ranking points.

Classes and tees: 

• Men (professional players, amateur and non-amateur players) –  white tees (6411m).
• Senior men (at least 50 years old on the first day of the competition) – yellow tees (5854m).
• Ladies –  blue tees (5402m).
• Senior ladies (at least 50 years old on the first day of the competition) – red tees (5100m).

Entry fee and registration

The entry fee is 170 euros, for members of Niitvälja Golf 100 euros. The tournament package with accommodation costs 260/330 euros depending on the selected room type. The accommodation is provided by LaSpa, for more information please click here. All players are welcome to practice between 28.6.–1.7.2021. The practice round green fee is 45 euros.

The entry fee can be payed to the bank account of AS Eesti Golfikeskus: IBAN EE901010002019833007, SWIFT: EEUHEE2X. Please include the name of the competitor followed by Karikas 2021. The entry fee includes on every competition day (2.–4.7.): an unlimited amount of driving range balls, competition rounds from Friday to Sunday, lunches, refreshments, fruit and snacks during the competition, the use of a trolleys and saunas.

Prizes

The prizes will be given out to the best players and runners-ups of each class. In addition, the best amateur men and the best mid-amateur men (at least 25 years old on the first day of the competition) will be awarded.

The prize money for professional golfers is 4000 € (Winner 2500 €, 2nd 1000 € and 3rd 500 €). The name of the best professional player, amateur men and women will be engraved on the oldest golf cup in Estonia.
