Pro Joachim Altonen Delivers Top Performance at the XXXII Niitvälja Karikas 2024 by Infortar!

Niitvälja Karikas by Infortar, the oldest golf tournament in the Baltic States, took place from 3 to 5 July 2024 on Niitvälja Park Course – the home of Estonian golf. This year, 135 players from 8 countries participated in the competition with a prize fund of €11,700. Both professionals and amateurs took part in the three-day competition in a total of four competition classes. The Niitvälja Karikas is included in the R&A World Amateur Golf Ranking. The competition was supported by Infortar, Orkla Eesti and Saku Õlletehas.

MEN

WINNER (also the best pro player): Joachim Altonen (HGK), -11 / 205 (prize money 2900 eur).
RUNNER UP (also the best amateur men): Markus Varjun (Niitvälja Golf), -7/209 (prize money 800 eur).

LADIES

WINNER: Anete Liis Adul (EGCC), par/ 216 (prize money 400 eur).
RUNNER UP: Triin Marleen Ustal (Rae Golfiklubi), +15 / 231 (prize money 300 eur).

35+ YEARS OLD AMATEUR MEN

The best 35+ years old amateur men: Joel Rothberg (Niitvälja Golf), +23 / 239 (prize money 400 eur).
The second best 35+ years old amateur men: Kristo Kallavus (Niitvälja Golf), +27 / 243 (prize money 300 eur).

SENIOR MEN

WINNER: Erkki Suomalainen (St. Laurence Golf, Finland), +16 / 232 (prize money 400 eur).
RUNNER UP: Joe Smith (Wyke Green),+16 / 232 (prize money 300 eur).
Third place: David Pursley (Ozo Golf Club), +17 / 233 (price money 200 eur).

SENIOR LADIES

WINNER: Kristel Ulla (Niitvälja Golf), +39 / 255 strokes (prize money 400 eur).
