PAR20 kenttä

PAR20-kenttä on pay and play -kenttä, mikä tarkoittaa, että pelaamiseen vaaditaan päivälippu. Yhdellä lipulla voi pelata saman päivän aikana rajoittamattoman määrän kierroksia. Kaikki pelaajat, joilla on Niitvälja Golfin pelioikeus tai -paketti, voivat pelata PAR20-kentällä ilmaiseksi.

PAR20-kentällä pelaajan tulee varata tiiausaika ja pitää siitä kiinni. Kentällä ei kuulu olla pelaajia, joiden nimeä ei löydy varausjärjestelmästä.

Mikäli pelaaja haluaa pelata uuden kierroksen, tulee hänen antaa etuoikeus tiiausajan varanneelle pelaajalle. Toiselle kierrokselle ei tarvitse varata tiiausaikaa, mutta jos tiiausajan varannut uusi pelaaja on juuri aloittamassa, tulee tämä päästää kentälle ensin.

PAR20-kentällä ovat voimassa samat säännöt kuin muuallakin Niitvälja Golfissa. Pelaajan tulee siistiä lyöntiensä jäljet ja pallon laskeutumisjäljet, tasoittaa bunkkeriin jääneet jäljet haravalla, pitää kiinni määrätystä pelitemposta sekä noudattaa etikettisääntöjä.

Out of Bounds (Rule 18.2)

• Out of bounds is defined by the line between the course-side points at the ground level of white stakes and/or white line. Out of bounds is defined with fence posts on the left side of hole 4. When both stakes and line is used, marking line applies.
• White stakes defining out of bounds are deemed to be boundary objects (Rule 8.1a).

Abnormal Course Conditions (Including Immovable Obstructions) (Rule 16)

• Immovable obstructions are all roads, wells, benches, flat metal penalty area markers, all sprinklers, drainage grates, information boards at tee areas, ball washers, wooden perimeter of the island green of hole 15, toilets, 10th tee snack bar (Rule 16.1), advertising banners and flags.
• Ground under repair is marked with blue stakes and/or painted line. When both stakes and line are used, marking line applies (Rule 16.1).

Penalty areas (Rule 17)

• Penalty area is marked with red markers and/or painted line. When both markers and line are used, marking line applies.

Movable obstructions (Rule 15.2)

• Next tee signs, penalty area stakes, stakes connected with rope or chain, distance markers (red 100m, yellow 150m, blue 200m)

No Play Zones

• No Play Zones are marked with blue and white stakes. The player must take mandatory relief (Rule 16.1f).
• No Play Zone from where play is prohibited includes ant hills, flower beds, pine bark mulch areas with a wooden border and planted trees that are marked with planting stick.

Immovable Obstructions Close to Putting Greens

• Model Local Rule F-5 Immovable Obstructions Close to Putting Greens. Immovable obstructions close to putting green: In addition to the types of interference described in Rule 16.1a, when a ball lies in the general area, interference also exists if an immovable obstruction is: on the player’s line of play, is within two club-lengths of the putting green, and is within two club-lengths of the ball. The player may take relief under Rule 16.1b. (Exception – There is no relief under this Local Rule if the player chooses a line of play that is clearly unreasonable.)

Preferred Lies

• Model Local Rule E-3 Preferred Lies Rule. A ball in the general area, cut to fairway height or less, may be marked and lifted, cleaned, and placed once within one open score card of the ball’s original spot on the general area without penalty, but not nearer the hole.
• The ball must be placed in accordance with Rule 14.2b(2) and 14.2e.

Suspension of Play (Rule 5.7). The following signals are used to suspend and resume play:

• Immediate suspension due to an approaching danger: 1 prolonged signal.
• Suspension due to a non-dangerous situation: 3 consecutive signals.
• Resuming the play: 2 consecutive signals.
• Note! If play is suspended due to an approaching danger, all practice areas are immediately closed too.

Breach of local rules is a general penalty (2 strokes penalty in Stroke Play; Loss of hole in Matchplay).
